The West Bengal Board of Secondary Examination (WBBSE) has released the Madhyamik examination (class 10) examination schedule on the official website - wbbse.org

The Madhyamik examination (class 10) will be conducted from March 12 to March 21, 2018 at different test centres across the state.

March 12: First languages (Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Modern Tibetan, Nepali, Odio, Gurmukhi (Punjabi), Telugu, Urdu and Santali)
March 13: Second languages (English--if any language other than English is offered as First Language. Bengali or Nepali -- if English is the First Language)
March 14: Geography
March 16: History
March 17: Physical Science
March 19: Mathematics
March 20: Life Science
March 21: Optional elective subject

Note: The exam dates for physical education and social service and work education would be announced by the board later. Each day, only one paper will be held for the class 10 exams which start from 11:45 am to 3 pm. The first 15 minutes will be given for just reading the question paper.

Enter your roll number and click 'Submit'
West Bengal 12th results will be displayed on the screen. Students can download the West Bengal 12th exam result and print it for future reference.

Students can also retrieve their West Bengal 12 class result by the SMS service. Type 'WB12<space>roll number' and send it to 54242 to get your results on your mobile phone.

WBCHSE Class 12th mark sheets, certificates and other relevant documents will be distributed by the board. Students can collect all documents from their respective schools. West Bengal HSC candidates can calculate their aggregate by removing any one of the two language subjects in case a student scores less in either of them. The one of the additional subjects score will then be considered in the best-of-five calculation. Students, must note that they must have pass marks in both the language papers to be shown as passed.

WBCHSE looks to prepare academic programmes and organise examinations, propose rules and specify courses of instruction and textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses, syllabus creation and recognition of higher secondary education in schools in West Bengal. West Bengal board regulates, supervises and control school education in the state of West Bengal.

WB board was established in 1975 for the promotion and development of higher secondary education in West Bengal and nearly 4,300 schools are affiliated to the board.
